Huge congratulations to our Tom French for completing his first London Marathon! New to running, Tom has completed his first London Marathon, with an impressive finishing time of 4:19.
“It is a testament to Tom’s tenacity and commitment that he has achieved this great result” commented Jon Butler, MD of Maximator UK. “We are very proud of Tom and happy to contribute to his fundraising for MS Society”.
According to Tom, he was not initially very keen on training for the event but, after the adrenaline and buzz that this flagship event offers, he may be changing his mind: “It’s not out of the question, but it would have to be a major one” he teased, when asked if he would do another.
Please visit https://www.mssociety.org.uk/ for more information about issues affecting sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis and the important work that MS Society does.
Maximator global family get together a great success.
Last week was an eventful week for the Maximator Global family as partners arrived from far and wide.
First was the Hanover fair, where partners were able to talk to customers about the Schmidt Kranz group’s comprehensive market offers for Hydrogen production, compression, storage and dispensing. Next, an update on Maximator’s advances in their HULC and X-Tower products for Hydrogen compression. Finally, a two day event deep in the Harz mountains where the partners got together for the first time since COVID, to learn about the latest business strategies and products, and to catch up with each other.

Tom, who joined the Cheshire based high pressure specialist in November last year, is pictured with a fleet of equipment for gas assisted moulding, including the new version of the company’s popular high pressure generator unit.
Jon Butler, Maximator MD explained: “Tom has redesigned this unit from the ground up. The previous unit was designed over a decade ago and the new system has many new features, including continuous oxygen monitoring and built in low pressure and high pressure storage. It is designed for easy access for maintenance and is lighter than the previous unit, while still including the ultra durable high pressure compressor and proven Maximator generator cores.”
Maximator’s second apprentice this year continues his journey with the Maximator team.
James Harrison Lee has started a new apprenticeship with the high pressure component and systems leader Maximator at its Winsford factory.
Having already completed a level 3 apprenticeship with Warrington and Vale Royal College, James has now started an apprenticeship with the company, which will see him extend his skills with high pressure equipment and study for a HNC in mechanical engineering.
“We are delighted with James’ progress, and his commitment to developing his technical skills. He is becoming an important member of the Maximator UK family” said Maximator’s Jon Butler.
